Francheska Williams

As the old saying goes, it is the early bird that gets the worm, or in this case it's the early photographer who beats the heat and gets the shot! At last, the Miss. Fracheska Willams (soon to be Cunningham) bridal portraits. We had such a great time on this shoot, despite the fact we were up at 6 am and shooting by 7. Francheska is so fun to work with and her personality shines through in every picture.  These are so Francheska!

Wedding pictures are up next...to be continued!

My Darlings

I thought I would put up a few pictures I took of my little boys. My oldest, Isaiah (6), and Jeremiah (3).

We are in a severe drought here in Texas. But a few months ago a friend from church gave me some really cute rain boots for the boys, and ever since we got them they have been longing to wear them. One day Isaiah ran up to me out of no where and said " mama it's time to wear the rain boots" I replied "no honey I don't think it's going to rain today." To my surprise in a few minutes of our little talk, it began to pour.
To say the very least I was shocked. " Now can we wear the rain boots?" Well I guess the pictures can tell you the rest of the story. It didn't last long but it gave us lots of mud to play in. I will treasure this day forever! Rainy days are meant to be shared like this.

Brian and Lina Perez

Almost 7 years after I got married to my wonderful husband, Jessie, my big brother Brian finally said I do to his best friend Lina Perez. Yes they had the same last name prior to marriage, but no relation I think lol. Our family had waited for this day for quite some time and I was thrilled when they asked me to be their photographer, wedding planner, decorator, music coordinator and food manger...whew I am tired just remembering...oh and did I mention I only had one week notice. Craziness and all, it came together beautifully and I would not change a thing. Despite the stress due to our little time crunch, I enjoyed capturing the tears, the laughter, my sister diving for the bouquet...which she caught I might add, and the classic elegance of the scenery. These pictures are more than just another photo shoot, they are my big brother's heirlooms. I want Brian and Lina to look back and remember what an awesome day the Lord gave them and let it be a testament to them of how much they are loved. One week notice is all we had, but for my big brother I would lasso the moon and the stars and bring them down if he asked. I love you both so very much and hope you enjoy these pictures 50 years from now!

Francheska and Sam

Awwww Fran and Sam, who I have recently dubbed the "Kissing Couple" were awesome. These two have been together 9+ years and still get butterflies and giggles when they are together. I loved every minute spent with this beautiful couple. I enjoyed their love and affection for each other and their thankfulness that they expressed to me for taking them on as a client...all I can say to fran and sam is the pleasure was all mine. This weekend we are shooting Francheska's bridal pics, I am so excited. Stay tuned!

Danielle and Travis

This couple will be forever with me. Let me explain what I mean. Upon our first consultation this couple was convinced they were incapable of producing a beautiful picture. They believed they were totally not photogenic. Well I hope I proved them wrong...LOL! At the beginning of the shoot they were a little tense and by the end they couldn't stop laughing. I think this couple is so sweet and perfect together. I am looking forward to our next shoot together and some more memory making. To Danielle and Travis thank you for the beautiful pictures.

Melissa, Cristian and baby Santiago

This family was so fun to work with and needed very little direction for me. They loved the camera and the camera loved them right back. They were such good sports. Not long after we began the shoot a cold front moved in and the temperature dropped fast, but no complaints from this family only smiles! Santiago 16 months old was a pro and made my job very fun. We have future plans to work together again this Christmas and I am looking forward to it.

Like Mother Like Daughter.

This photo shoot was especially special to me because the subjects in the shoot are my wonderful Aunt Wendy Bledsoe and my cousin Bambi Holliday. The two of them came down all the way from Colorado. We decided to capture some much needed mother and daughter photographs. So we killed two birds with one stone. We captured some beautiful moments as well as spending some quality time together...got to love multi-tasking. I look forward to their return, back to God's country Texas!
